Most of these images were shot at the start of summer on May 27th 2017 at BottleRock in Napa, CA. By October of that year Tom would sadly pass away. September 17th, 2017 I was at one of his final performances, he headlined closed out KAABOO Festival in Del Mar. I did not shoot his set. We had just seen him in May, and on this cool fall night I almost left his set early to beat traffic. Tom’s music live was always so good it effortlessly pulled you until the very last note. Fortunately I stayed to enjoy the final festival set of the year for 2017. Unbeknownst to anyone it was heartbreakingly one Tom’s last.
